5th July 2008 marked the fourth year of the BWC with attendees once again, flocking from as far afield as Amsterdam and Poland (via Ireland), to Wales, Manchester, Croydon, Bristol and everywhere in between. 
 
This year, we introduced a bring-and-buy table, for participants to buy and sell their own new and used whips. This seemed to work very well and a fair few whips now have new homes.

The 2008 competitions took on a slightly different slant this year and given the excellence of standard achieved among previous years' participants, the organisers concluded that this should be reflected in the prizes awarded.

Beginners           Laurence from Amsterdam   
Intermediates     John from Manchester
'Experts'              Major from Wolverhampton 
 
Multi Target hitting
Beginners          Neil from Tewkesbury and Laurence tied on 8 points.  Neil won the 'best of 5' crack-off
Intermediates    David from Herefordshire & Chay from Cardiff tied on 9 points. David won the 'best of 5' crack-off 
'Experts'             Andrzej from Poland 
Congratulation to the winners and well done to everybody who took part!
